ERDCWERX, an innovation hub of DEFENSEWERX, provides a streamlined path to collaboration with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). We connect industry, academia, and government to accelerate innovation and take it to the marketplace and warfighter—making it easier and faster to submit solutions, commercialize ERDC-developed technologies, and access ERDC’s unique expertise and world-class capabilities. As a result of our partnership with ERDC, a growing number of contracts and agreements are being awarded to industry and academia.
To help achieve these outcomes in support of the Innovation to Impact strategy of ERDC’s Office of Research and Technology Transfer, we:
- Expand internal and external networks to include industry and academia
- Simplify the process for industry and academia to engage with ERDC
- Promote and leverage ERDC’s innovation strengths
- Save time and accelerate the progress of research, IP commercialization, and other initiatives
Through these efforts, ERDCWERX empowers industry and academia to identify new partnerships for innovation and commercialization with ERDC by collaborating with ERDC’s Office of Small Business Programs and other key partners. ERDCWERX invites non-traditional defense contractors to submit solutions, at no cost, to specific projects identified by ERDC.
An Innovation Hub of DEFENSEWERX
Located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, ERDCWERX is a partnership intermediary of ERDC and an innovation hub of DEFENSEWERX. We serve ERDC’s seven laboratories in four states.
