ERDCWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between DEFENSEWERX and the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) to discover new commercial opportunities that leverage the research, IP portfolio, facilities, and unique testing capabilities at the ERDC.
ERDCWERX has tools to empower small businesses, entrepreneurs, and academia to identify new partnerships for innovation and commercialization with the ERDC in military engineering, environmental quality and inspections, civil works and water resources, geospatial research and engineering, and engineered resilient systems.
The PIA helps the ERDC drive technologies faster to meet warfighter needs, identify new opportunities for collaboration, solve complex technical challenges, and create new business environments that convert innovation into valued outcomes. ERDC's solutions help solve the nation's most challenging problems in civil and military engineering for the Army, Department of Defense, civilian agencies, and public good.
